I've been away for the last few days on business around a large part of the country. The good news is that I have managed to collect a few pleges for Operation Smile. Here are the figures:
R1.00 oh no a bit more than that, how about R17.00 ummmm, no c'mon please give some more. How about R171.00. No that's not enough......Ok how about R1711.00 and that's final. Think about all the kids you'll be helping... ok R171,100.00 Now we're getting there, but that only does just over 5 operations. OK we'll add a bit more, R171,140.00. Look, we appreciate your effort, but can't I twist your arm for a little more.
You bikers are all hard assed people OK and this is final R1,711,400.00

One million, seven hundred and eleven thousand, four hundred Rand.

Woooww, there`s no words to express the meaning of that amount and what it wil do for the less privelaged who will be able to face themselves in a mirror with a smile. My God bless every giver and receiver. Giver of time, effort, money, unselfish goodwill and all that is part of this GREAT event.

Greg, it was from different people and companies. I showed the video many times and that is the result. I saw many tears and people with knoppe in hul keels as Thys would put it. It was an awesome experience and did a huge amount of good for me to have faith in human kind again. It really was nothing about what I did, it was people who's hearts were opened, I beleive, by our Creator.
